# Rate Limits

> API rate limits per endpoint category

## Default Rate Limits

| Endpoint Category                      | Rate Limit               |
| -------------------------------------- | ------------------------ |
| Search (people, company, agent search) | 10 req/s, 1 000 req/min  |
| Enrichment (profile, company)          | 30 req/s, 30 000 req/min |

When you exceed a rate limit, the API will return a `429 Too Many Requests` response. Wait before retrying.
